Artist Vanessa Su translates light and sensation—emerging from the smallest units that compose the world—onto the canvas. Rather than simply depicting forms or narrating stories, her work is an act of recording emotional traces shaped by her own perceptions and experiences. The luminous dots, layered colors, and delicate yet blurred brushstrokes in her paintings explore an ethereal, immaterial realm.

Vanessa Su works in the stillness of dawn, between 3 and 4 a.m., when the world is asleep.
